Georgia qualified for the 2011 Rugby World Cup to be held in New Zealand after a hard-fought 17-9 victory over Spain on Saturday.
This was the Georgian's seventh victory in eight matches in the European Nations Cup 2010, which is the World Cup's European qualification tournament, and leaves them top of the competition table with the top two qualifying.
Russia and Romania, who drew 21-21 in Sochi, Russia, on Saturday are the other two sides who can still qualify for next year's World Cup later this year with one more slot from Europe still available.
The 2011Rugby World Cup kicks off with hosts New Zealand playing Tonga in Auckland on Friday September 9 and finishes with the final also in Auckland on Sunday October 23.
