The German organisers of the 2006 World Cup finals will find a way to stop pitch invaders disrupting play, organising committee chairman Franz Beckenbauer said.

Spectators have managed to run on to the field of play in four matches in the 16-game Confederations Cup tournament in Germany.

"It really unnerves me and disrupts the match. Of course we have to manage this," Beckenbauer told a press conference with FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

"There will always be madmen all over the world who will always try to find loopholes in the system, but we will find a solution," he said Monday.

The latest 'invader', a Spaniard who ran on to the pitch brandishing a flag during the Brazil v Germany semi-final in Nuremberg, admitted he had been paid by a United States-based Internet gambling site.

He was released by police after paying a fine of 400 euros. The World Cup organisers are expected to seek a solution which does not involve erecting fences around the pitch.
